Women in gaming: current statistics

According to the most recent ‘Gender Imbalance in Business’ report, only 13% of women in the Media & Online sector hold senior-level positions – including that of the CEO.

“Fantastic” to see growing awareness

Lee-Ann Johnstone, Founder & CEO of Affiverse, shared her thoughts on the WiG initiative,

“There are a number of businesses, media and leaders in our industry opening doors and helping young women step up and advance their careers in iGaming.

“It is fantastic to see such open adoption and recognition being given to those who strive to improve and promote diversity and develop their expertise in our industry.”

Lee-Ann, who is an ambassador for the All-In Diversity Project’s #OpenDoors campaign, will also be present at Betting on Sports America in April. During the event in New Jersey, she’ll be hosting a workshop about affiliate marketing.

She has reiterated that she welcomes people to message her on LinkedIn if they see her at this, and other future events to talk about affiliate marketing and building a career in this fast paced digital medium.
