Kindred Group subsidiary Unibet has announced a multi-year partnership with National Football League (NFL) franchise the Philadelphia Eagles.
The sponsorship deal, which doubles as the Eagles’ first ever casino partnership, follows on from Unibet’s September New Jersey debut in which it launched its Kambi-powered sportsbook in partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono and announced a deal with National Hockey League team the NJ Devils.
Arnas Janickas, Head of U.S. Marketing at Unibet, discussed the partnership: “As we look to grow our footprint in the US, it only made sense to partner with one of the largest, most respected and loved teams in the NFL. The Eagles unmatched fan engagement and relentless innovation in digital space definitely helped to make this partnership a reality.”
As part of the deal, the online gambling operator is set to receive a permanent branding presence across the Eagles’ home stadium of the Lincoln Financial Field, gaining specific access to the northwest suites on the main concourse as well as on the “Eagles Nest Tower,” the stadium’s digital billboard.
Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy of the Philadelphia Eagles, added: “Unibet’s reputation as a global leader in the online gambling space has helped the company establish a strong, emerging footprint in the Philadelphia market. We are proud to align ourselves with a company that is fully dedicated to innovation, the customer experience, and responsible gaming.”
Moreover, as a result of the partnership Unibet is also set to benefit from exposure across the Eagles’ digital and print assets which include team publications and social media channels as well as on PhiladelphiaEagles.com.
