German-language sportsbook Tipico Sportswetten has announced that it has extended its sponsorship of the Austrian Bundesliga for an additional two seasons.
The bookmaker has agreed to continue its ‘Tipico Austria Bundesliga’ title sponsorship, which it has maintained since season 2014/15.
Furthermore, Austrian news sources report that Tipico will be granted first rights by the Austria Bundesliga to further extend the sponsorship, past the renewed terms.
Tipico emphasised that it was pleased to renew one of its most successful sponsorships, which had secured the bookmaker comprehensive brand coverage across Austria.
Renewing terms, Tipico details that it will continue to fund Austrian Bundesliga club developments, alongside the promotion of the league’s social and grassroots initiatives.
Confirming the Austria Bundesliga extension, Marlon van der Goes, Tipico Chief Commercial Officer commented: “This extension is a mutual commitment. Tipico and the Austria Bundesliga stand for football, for trust and constant development. Our engagement in Austria has been promoting local football since 2014 and we are proud of that. We look forward to the coming seasons and with the league reform on a new chapter in the Tipico Bundesliga. “
