In the first of our Responsible Gambling Week-themed podcasts, Lee-Ann Johnstone meets up with BetBlocker CEO Duncan Garvie. BetBlocker is a free gambling ad blocking tool created for consumers who have been affected by gambling addiction and who were in a dire situations because of it.
He was was concerned by the fact that gambling ad tools in existence that could be used to self exclude were generally offered as paid for services.
Duncan talks to Affiverse about how he plans to ensure this tool will be supported and marketed in order to help overcome problem gambling. He also calls on affiliates and operators alike to help with improving player protection within iGaming when notable behaviours arise.
