Sportsbet.io now accepting Ethereum as payment option

Bitcoin-led online casino operator Coingaming Group has opened up its Sportsbet.io domain to allow punters to place wagers and withdraw winnings using Ethereum.

The Sportsbet.io site now lets players access and benefit from the sportsbook’s wide range of markets, price boosts and World Cup centre using Bitcoin, Ethereum, euros and SOC coin – the cryptocurrency of the All Football app.

Joe McCallum, Director of Sportsbook at Sportsbet.io, said: “Opening the door to one of the world’s most popular cryptocurrencies is another step in making Sportsbet.io’s competitive gaming products accessible for all. And with the World Cup drawing to one of its most exciting conclusions, Ethereum players will now be able to easily get involved in all the action.”

The operator, which has offices in Spain, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Ukraine, Brazil and Estonia, is also responsible for the Bitcasino.io domain. Coingaming Group declared that the addition of the new crypto-currency will see its Sportsbet.io domain become “more accessible than ever” and further cement its place “as the betting site of choice for players from all over the world”.

Alongside the sportsbook’s pioneering features such as Cash Out and fiat-to-Bitcoin exchange service, BTCXE, the diverse payment options are helping to cement Sportsbet.io as the betting site of choice for players from all over the world.
