Sportium seeks to unify engagement with new UNO app roll-out

Sportium, Ladbrokes and Grupo Cirsa’s Spanish market joint venture, has announced the launch of its UNO app accounts, seeking to unify engagements across its digital and land-based properties.
Launching its new product, the platform claims to have delivered Spain’s first omni-channel discipline for sports betting consumers, with UNO accounts allowing customers to cash-out winnings across all 3000 Sportium betting points.
Such a development is aimed at bolstering Sportium’s offering, which should lead to more valuable traffic for those who have signed up to the Sportium Afiliados program.
In addition, Sportium customers will be further able to check wagers placed across land-based and digital properties through their combined UNO account.
Beyond maintaining player account information and transactional capabilities, the Sportium Uno app features a ‘Sportium Scores’ service publishing the latest sports results and market odds.
The launch of UNO, sees Sportium replicate popular omni-channel dynamics that have been adopted by partner company Ladbrokes through its ‘The Grid’ loyalty programme, launched in April.
Sportium leadership brands UNO as a ‘major weapon’ for its growth strategy for Spain, detailing that the UNO app will be utilised to revamp its customer loyalty and retention programmes, with exclusive offers, market promotions and player incentives.

‘Employee Innovation’ program launch

The news comes just days before Sportium holds an open forum for employees to showcase personal projects, initiatives or ideas which will be assessed by the betting group’s executive team and corporate advisors.
Sportium governance will assess all propositions evaluating innovation, originality and viability of the projects, announcing its five finalists and winner on 30th January at a ceremony at Barcelona’s Esade Creapolis institute.
The winning employee project will be rolled out across all Sportium active markets, with the winner further receiving executive guidance, as he/she takes full control of the project’s implementation.
Updating stakeholders,  Sportium governance detailed that it will always ‘bet on innovation and creativity’ with regards to its staff development.
