Soft2Bet obtains Swedish iGaming licence

Casino and operator group Soft2Bet has obtained a Swedish iGaming licence, enabling two of its leading brands to expand here.

Campobet and YoYo Casino have both been certified by BIMM Laboratories, as has the Soft2Bet platform. Full market compliance for the two mentioned brands has also been achieved, following a series of successful audits.

Global plans

Soft2Bet’s expansion into the Swedish market forms part of its greater desires to delve into various emerging regions. Since the country has one of Europe’s most advanced technological infrastructures and a high GDP per capita, it’s easy to see why Sweden was a choice. These two factors will make Campobet and YoYo Casino tempting for affiliates to promote too.

Uri Poliavich, Soft2Bet Chief Operating Officer, said: “The granting of this licence is a historical moment for us. Our team has put a lot of effort into meeting regulatory requirements and deadlines.

“This achievement is a product of uncompromising dedication and is another great accomplishment for our executives and our team.”

Soft2Bet has a range of other consumer-facing brands, in addition to a multi-brand affiliate program – 7Stars Partners. Some of its other white label operators include Zulabet, Cadoola and Wazamba.

iGaming in Sweden

Swedish iGaming has had an eventful first year since re-regulating at the beginning of January. Gaming revenue in Q3 2019 declined, while there have been various issues related to ethics and regulation.

Much has changed in terms of operators here, too. Ninja Casino, for example, was forced to leave the market after its licence was revoked. On the flip side, River iGaming launched its Casonic brand here back in May.

The introduction of Soft2Bet’s brands means that in total, the number of regulated operators in Sweden is approaching the 100 mark.
