Relax Gaming Gibraltar Ltd secures UK licence

Gibraltar subsidiary of iGaming aggregator and software provider Relax Gaming has been approved by the UK Gambling Commission. This licence acquisition will see Relax’s collection of casino games made available to UK operators through its Gibraltar arm.

Another major commercial highlight

Content supplier and iGaming aggregator Relax Gaming Gibraltar Ltd was granted gaming supplier license by the UK Gambling Commission as announced by the company in a press release yesterday.

Now Relax Gaming can offer its casino games to UK operators through its Gibraltar arm.

Relax Gaming CEO, Tommi Maijala said: “Following a fruitful relationship with the Gambling Commission through our Malta-based company, having all our products and services approved for our Gibraltar branch is another major commercial highlight for us. Its significance will be felt across the business, including by our valued third-party partners.”

Relax said it had already transferred operator partners Boylesports, 32Red and BetVictor to Relax Gaming’s Gibraltar network, with Entain’s UK brands – Ladbrokes, Coral and Gala Bingo – among the next to follow.

Further growth opportunities

This licence approval happens after Relax said it was targeting expansion in the UK and appointed Alba Monroy as its new senior business development manager in February.

The supplier declared that this latest licence signalled “further growth opportunities in one of the world’s strongest markets”. Whilst its expansion into the UK comes as the company continues to “strengthen its position in other regulated markets including the Nordics”.

With the other group licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and the Romanian National Gaming Office, the UK permit helps multiply the points of sale for the content supplier across regulated markets.

“This licence acquisition represents fresh opportunity in our drive to deliver excellence and growth across all regulated markets”, said Maijala.

The supplier also supports regulated markets such as Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia.
