This year’s AskGamblers Awards are just around the corner with the virtual event taking place on 17th June 2021. Operators in the industry are looking forward to hearing the results when Awards Night comes along.
We caught up with AskGamblers Senior Account Managers, Milica Kasapovic and Dijana Radunovic to hear what we can expect from this year’s award show. Find out more about the upcoming event in our Q+A below.
Affiverse: As you have chosen to host this year’s event online – can you give invitees an idea of what they can expect?
AskGamblers: “As usual, invitees can expect a lot of fun! We’re super excited and, frankly, can’t wait for June to come. While we’re waiting for the event, scheduled for 17th June, the AskGamblers Awards team is extremely busy with putting everything together.
These Awards will be different from the previous events because they’ll be packed in “short form”, but rest assured we’re preparing plenty of surprises for attendees and viewers alike.”
Affiverse: Which categories would you consider the highlights of the night?
AskGamblers: “As always, there’s a lot of buzz with the Newest Casino and Best Casino categories. However, over the years we’ve realized that each category is equally important. For example, last year we added a new category called Best Affiliate Manager, which is key because, in order to keep track of players’ preferences, we need to nurture great relationships with casinos.
Naturally, we cannot forget our dear game providers either, as the whole game rests on high-quality slots.”
Affiverse: How will you make this year’s event special for those attending online?
AskGamblers: “We’re truly sad we won’t be able to accommodate our beloved partners in Belgrade this year, but as we’re always thinking about them, we can promise VIP treatment as usual. We cannot reveal more at this point, but we wish to encourage you to get involved in the nomination phase and earn a spot among the best of the best.
Don’t worry; even though this year’s event will be held online, we guarantee you’ll be entertained!”
Affiverse: What makes this event different from other industry awards?
AskGamblers: “AskGamblers has always been player-oriented, which is the logic we’re following with the Awards, as well. We’re listening to our players; the finalists are chosen by them and at the end we’re summing up all the aspects in order to proclaim the best contenders. That’s what makes it different – players’ opinions and, ultimately, objective winners.”
Affiverse: Why do you think it is important to give players the chance to vote?
AskGamblers: “It is easy; we’re here for them. There has to be a place where players can express themselves. As you may know with our complaint system, we have always been on the players’ side, making sure their voice is heard.
Likewise, their votes are helping us get the bigger picture, discover what they like and who they support, what their opinion is and thus demonstrate to all how much it matters. There’s no doubt it’s vital to listen to the players; after all, what we’re creating is primarily meant for them.”
