Newcastle United and FUN88 extend commercial partnership

Premier League club Newcastle United has extended its commercial partnership with online sportsbook and casino FUN88

As part of the deal, FUN88 will continue to have its logo feature on the front of the Magpies’ playing and training kits. 

FUN88 has been the club’s shirt sponsor since 2017, in which the side has consolidated its place back in England’s top flight. 

Along with featuring on the front of Newcastle’s shirts, the operator has also contributed to social media and fan engagement. 

Looking for global reach 

Newcastle United Managing Director Lee Charnley had the following to say about the new extended deal. 

“We are delighted FUN88 has renewed its relationship with Newcastle United and committed its support to the club over a number of years to come. 

“Building on the success of our partnership to date, we look forward to this next phase and working together to engage fans and grow our collective reach around the globe.”

In the three years that FUN88 has partnered with Newcastle, the brand has held ticket and shirt giveaways – as well as other competitions.

A spokesperson for the company also commented on the deal and said the below.

“Together with the club, we live the dream of expanding our fan base across all continents, especially in Asia. 

“FUN88 is optimistic that this partnership will assist us in becoming the leading gaming and entertainment platform in countries across the world.”

Newcastle sit in a comfortable 13th place in the Premier League. They have two games remaining in the current Premier League season – away to Brighton tonight and at home to champions Liverpool on Sunday. 

Since Project Restart commenced they have played seven games, winning two, drawing two and losing three.
