Mustardbet shuts down after less than three years

It has been confirmed that Mustardbet has ceased its operations and will not be accepting any more bets. The online casino and sports book operator has cone to stop trading with immediate effect after less than three years in the business.

With no reason being provided for why the decision has been made, the company has issued reassurance to its previous customers that it will settle outstanding bets as quickly as possible.

As a newcomer to the industry, Mustardbet only fully launched in March 2018. Despite their youth, the company were tipped to perform as well. Andrew Garood was at the helm of the company, an industry expert with an excellent reputation.

The company held two licences, with one of them being with the UK Gambling Commission and the other with the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. They offered casino games and sportsbetting, while Mustardbet also had a well-regarded in-house betting platform.

However it has been found that despite winning plaudits for the customer interface, Mustardbet have been forced to lose their doors and cease trading instantly.

However, the website can still be accessed at the moment, and visitors are now shown a message on the welcome screen upon arrival. This message is in place to inform players that not only have Mustardbet gone out of business but also that the website will only be available until 11th November, a total of 28 days.

No detail have been released about the reason of the decision, the operator has taken steps to assure its customers that they will be honouring their commitments.

The statement on their website has confirmed that balances being held will be returned to cards held on file within the next 72 hours. If there are any payments which cannot be made this way, Mustardbet have pledged to do their best to contact the customer through email or phone over the next 28 days.

This all means that customers will be able to access any of the information they need from their account until 11th November. This includes transactions and account balance. However, after this period the website will be taken down and no information will be available.

Any Mustardbet customers are therefore being urged to check their account as soon as possible to check whether any money is owed. Mustardbet have promised to settle outstanding bets as winners and in the case of multiple bets, to offer the most profitable calculation.
