Manchester-based affiliate Moneta Communications has launched HorseRacing.net, its latest stride within the world of horse racing.
The new website will provide betting tips, odds and promotions for fans of the sport. There will be over 200 selections per day from a range of tipsters. One feature of interest is the ‘Naps Table’, which shows who the in-form tipsters are at that given moment.
Delving deeper into horse racing
Moneta Communications, which expanded into the US market in May, has been active within horse racing this year. The company previously owned JumpsRacing.co.uk, and leveraged its experience with this to launch HorseRacing.net. Its new website has also partnered with 2017 Racing TV Tipster winner Chris Baker.
Russell Palmer, Chief Operating Officer of Moneta Communications, believes that past experiences will be beneficial going forward. He said: “Our collective experience and knowledge of the industry means we are confident that this will be a very prosperous project for Moneta. We’ve teamed up with a terrific mix of youth and experience to provide some fantastic racing content.”
With next year’s Cheltenham Festival already on the horizon, the website has launched a new ‘Road to Cheltenham’ series. This will feature numerous articles, created by a number of big names such as Cheltenham-based broadcaster Cathryn Fry. Former Racing Post editor Ed Quigley will also contribute.
Since launching, HorseRacing.net has also restarted the Jumps Racing Podcast. This is hosted by Bobby Beevers, a broadcaster who has experience with the likes of TalkSPORT and ITV Racing.
In addition to its more experienced names, HorseRacing.net has sought to attract a team of young writers to complement them.
