LOTP receives B2C licence from Isle of Man Regulator

The online sportsbook LOTP (Lord of the Pot) has now officially received its B2C licence from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. This means their content, which is aimed at esports and sports fans, will soon become available to customers in the region.

Before launching in the Isle of Man, LOTP will integrate games from the software provider Tokigames into its offering, including live fantasy and pari-mutuel titles. Meanwhile, the online sportsbook’s back-office will be supported by Pragmatic Solutions and its affiliate program will be run by Affiverse.

Expanding into Asia through the Isle of Man

With its newly issued B2C licence, the company is primarily going to be targeting Asian markets, acting as an offshore operator. To ensure they remain compliant, LOTP has also teamed up with Amber Gaming, who is highly experienced in the Asian iGaming market.

A LOTP spokesperson said this of the news: “The Isle of Man sets that standard when it comes to licensing online gambling organisations and with its understanding of the Asian market, it was the perfect fit for our business.

“Of course, we wanted to ensure we were working to its standards from the get-go and Amber Gaming has proved vital in helping us navigate the licensing process while also making sure that we not only meet but exceed these requirements.

Aiming to meet and exceed regulatory requirements

They concluded: “With our Isle of Man licence, we can now prepare to launch LOTP in the Asian markets we have identified as offering the greatest potential and with a product that we know is meeting the highest levels of safe gaming and responsible gambling.”

This smart move should allow the online sportsbook to increase its international outreach, starting in the Isle of Man and expanding all the way to Asia.
