UK market foothold

LeoVegas to withdraw Royal Panda from the UK

In preparation for Royal Panda‘s UK departure, LeoVegas has stopped accepting new players for this brand. It will officially withdraw on January 31st, 2020.

What happens now?

Existing players will have until January 20th to deposit with its casino or bet on sports. Those that don’t withdraw their existing balance prior to the end of this month will have the money automatically transferred to their payment method on record. For those that Royal Panda is unable to send funds to, it will contact them to arrange this.

Players will continue to be contacted for 12 months after the official withdrawal. Any funds that haven’t been collected after this will be donated to GambleAware.

Affiliates

As a result of this news, affiliates won’t be able to promote Royal Panda to UK players beyond January.

However, the website is available in multiple languages – including German, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. So, it’s unlikely that affiliates with traffic from other markets will be affected.

Post-January bet outcomes

Bonus balances can be used until the end of January. For players with sports bets that are due to be settled beyond this date, Royal Panda will reach out to clarify what will happen to their stakes and winnings.

The below message was published on Royal Panda’s website.

“We’d like to thank you for playing with Royal Panda, remind you that you should withdraw your cash as soon as possible, and wish you every success in the future.”

It continued: “As part of the LeoVegas Group, we recommend that you check out LeoVegas.com, who provide a fantastic alternative for players seeking an entertaining casino experience.”
