Gateway welcomes Pulse Arena into Grand Villa casino

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment are currently pushing towards redefining the casino experience in British Columbia via the unveiling of the region’s first Pulse Arena.

While boasting a portfolio of 27 properties, the firm has partnered with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Interblock for the introduction at its Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby.

Pulse Arena guarantees “an innovative, immersive, multi-sensory gaming space”, which stretches through 35 interconnected gaming stations which are all supported by lights, sound and a 30-foot digital wall, while bringing together electronic table games, live dealer games and interactive play.

Rowland England, vice president of operations in BC West commented: “We are excited to introduce Pulse Arena exclusively at Grand Villa Burnaby. It allows us to offer a unique gaming experience that can be tailored to meet the changing needs of our customers at any time of the day or week

“This immersive gaming experience can only be found at Gateway Casinos properties in Canada and is the first-of-its-kind in BC.”

Through Pulse Arena, players are now able to play up to a total of three games simultaneously with a choice of baccarat, blackjack and roulette.

With the dealers being referred to as ‘games entertainers,’ incorporate entertainment into the experience, which can be viewed by players through a live feed on the video wall located at the front of the space.

Burton Poitras, Interblock’s vice president of sales and service in Canada added: “We truly value our partnership with Gateway Casinos and BCLC. The launch of the Pulse Arena at Grand Villa Casino will bring new, cutting-edge technology to the casino floor and we look forward to their players enjoying the many games offered.”

Also, Grand Villa has recently upgraded its premium gaming arenas, with the property now boasting 1330 slots machines, 61 table games along with 11 poker tables alongside nine bars and restaurants.

“The Pulse Arena is a great example of how BCLC is listening to player feedback, improving our technologies, and modernising the industry,” added Brad Desmarais, BCLC’s vice president of casino and community gaming.

“BCLC is constantly looking to bring fresh and innovative games to our players in BC and we’re thrilled to do just that with the introduction of Pulse Arena at Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby.”
