After landing the accolade for Best Affiliate Program at the iGB Affiliate Awards, King Billy Casino Head of Affiliates Ruslan Legenzov shares some insight into the development of the brand.
Kings and Queens. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them. Fascinating, peculiar, majestic (pun intended). Awe-inspiring when we are young, source of our metaphors when he have young ones. Yes, we confess to calling our 4-year-old daughter “a princess” rather than “a responsible citizen”.
It must be something in their blue blood that makes them special, hated, adored and… awarded. Enter King Billy, First of His Name, Rightful Ruler of the Kingdom, Guardian of the Realm, and Protector of the Players. When the mascot of an online casino has more characters in its title than a Donald Trump tweet, you know that something is very special about this operator.
And yes, King Billy Casino just won a very special one: the iGB “Best Affiliate Program” Award, at the established iGB Awards, held at the Brewery on Saturday, February 8, 2019. And they did it the hard way, by beating titans like Mr Green and the Betsson Group or multi-operator programs like Alea Affiliates and 7Star Partners.
We just cannot emphasise enough how speechless this award left the industry. For a brand that was virtually non-existing two years ago, to come and win, against opponents of this calibre, feels like the Atherton Collieries (members of the Northern Premier League Division One West, the 9th level of English football) making it to the Champions League finals and beating Real Madrid.
But, wait! There is much more to this King than meets the eye, if we are to judge by awards. This is our third award since the beginning of the year and fourth in less than two years of operations.
We won the AskGamblers 2018 Awards Best New Casino, AskGamblers 2019 Awards Best Casino 3rd place and AskGamblers 2019 Awards Player’s Choice Casino 2nd place. But obviously, this one is much more special for us, as it is a huge reward for the sweat, blood and tears put by our incredible individuals at the King Billy Affiliate Department.
And we are not done yet. Because, cliché as it may sound, it is true: reaching the top is hard, but staying on it is so much harder. But we will give our all to continue offering second to none services to all our King Billy affiliates. The best is yet to come!”
Is this a promise or a threat? To us, it sounds like a promise. To the competition probably a warning. Be careful guys! The New King of the Block is here and he feeds on awards. We think that King Billy will, indeed, live long and prosper.
