EveryMatrix struck by licence suspension in the UK

Online gambling software supplier, EveryMatrix has had its UK operating licence suspended by the GB Gambling Commission with immediate effect.

The Commission will now be carrying out a review into the supplier, and has said that the decision was based on compliance activity at EveryMatrix, including an examination of its customer interaction framework.

The regulator cited section 118(2) of the Gambling Act 2005, which permits to suspend a licence to carry out a review into a business if it suspects certain conditions apply.

EveryMatrix will now be allowed to settle ante-post bets which are placed before the suspension and facilitate customers’ accessing their accounts to withdraw funds.

EveryMatrix will not accept any further gambling activity from players in Great Britain on its Bookee.co.uk, Pwrbet.com, Fantasino.com, Playfrank.com, Sportingindex.com, Westcasino.com, Dragonaraonline.com, Jetbull.com, Mrwin.com and Casinomulti.com websites until further notice.

Licence suspension does not apply to EveryMatrix’s activities which are related to manufacturing, supplying, installing, or adapting gambling software however, and the supplier will be able to carry on with these as normal.

The supplier said in a statement: “During this period EveryMatrix will continue to deliver a fair and safe experience to its players.

“All players will be able to access their accounts and withdraw any funds held in it at any time.

“Ante-post bets will be honoured, so if you have placed bets on future events these will be paid out as usual if they become winning bets.”

EveryMatrix’s CasinoEngine signed their latest deal at the start of August, where Spinmatic Entertainment has become the latest content developer to sign up with EveryMatrix to use its CasinoEngine iGaming integration platform and content aggregator.

The arrangement saw Spinmatic make its portfolio of games available to CasinoEngine and its network of operators.

CasinoEngine are currently providing access to more than 8,000 titles from over 140 providers who are integrated into one casino software platform.
