DraftKings launches online casino in Pennsylvania

Sports betting and daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has launched its new online casino product in Pennsylvania, which can be accessed via its mobile app.

The feature was developed in collaboration with Hollywood Casino, which is an affiliate of Penn National Gaming

Users will be able to play a variety of virtual table games, in addition to sport and holiday-themed table felts.

Adding to its existing Pennsylvanian presence

DraftKings had already been operating in the Keystone State prior to its online casino launch. This was in sports betting, through its partnership with Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

In March 2020, DraftKings’ sports betting revenue in the state amounted to $1.5 million of Pennsylvania’s $6.9 million total.

Some of the table games that players will be able to enjoy include blackjack, roulette and three-card poker. Slot games will also be made available.

DraftKings’ online casino features will be available on both iOS and Android devices.

This year, DraftKings has expanded its sportsbook into Iowa and also signed a major New York deal. It recently launched its mobile sports betting app in Colorado, whose online sports betting market officially went live last Friday.

DraftKings is headquartered in Boston, but online sports betting in Massachusetts is illegal. However, it’s regulated in New Hampshire and is that state’s solitary sportsbook as things stand.

The operator is set to release its financial results for the first quarter of 2020 next Friday (15th May).
