DMF Session Preview: Global Opportunities

With two weeks to go until our Digital Marketing Forum (DMF), our agenda is built around ensuring your hard marketing questions, get answered.

You’ll be experiencing our top-quality panels and speaker presentations, along with some of the biggest personalities in the affiliate and digital marketing. Our experts will be talking through a lot of key points, latest trends and divulging some hot digital marketing insights along with new industry developments.

The Digital Marketing Forum takes place alongside Betting on Sports and CasinoBeats Summit, and this year it will be addressing issues such as global opportunities for affiliates and operators to consider along with the rise of esports and it’s convergence with sports betting and marketing to millennials as a conversion stream.

If you’re still not sure about attending this event, here’s a new sneak preview into the topics which will be addressed during the panel discussions, one of which is delving into  the geographical landscape for new business and the factors influencing the way that affiliates and operators succeed in targeting new emerging markets.

Emerging markets as a key affiliate focus

We’ll take a look at new regulation, understand the amended tax infrastructures and how this affects your customer acquisition and revenue margins. We’ll also discuss marketing innovation tools and where early adapters are making positive change – despite stronger restrictions on digital marketing tactics. The panel will also cover a spotlight on Africa, US and LATAM as a key focus.

Within this panel, we have four highly experienced professionals who will deliver the perfect and most accurate advice and tips on how these markets will shape up in the future.

Moderating this panel is seasoned professional, Shona ODonnell, Head of Strategic Events at Better Collective, who touched on what direction she thinks the future of iGaming is going: I think we will see further growth in social media and its influence, in particular peer to peer marketing. Trust in corporate brands is at an all time low and this means user lead platforms that are authentic in their messaging are growing in popularity,” she said.

Secondly, we will have Mathew Symmonds, Director at Web Analysis Solutions. He believes that regulation is one thing which will drive traffic and acquisitions with online audiences: “Things can change so quickly in the iGaming space and affiliates and iGaming brands need to be prepared for constant change.  Driving traffic and creating and maintaining a strong business is always about sustainability in our view.  Grow organically, produce good content, know your audience, and don’t try to take too many shortcuts to get there.”

Next, it’s Shane McGinley, Senior Business Analyst at Covers.com; While still believing that affiliates will be involved in building websites, Shane thinks that podcast will still continue to grow in importance: “Podcasts will still continue to become more important, as we adapt to people’s methods of consuming different information online.”

Finally we have Simon Pilkington, Head of International Markets at Kafe Rocks. Simon touches on what he is looking forward to covering at our Digital Marketing Forum as he says, “I think the key areas will be how we’ve approached new opportunities across global markets and been able to scale at pace in order to reach our objectives.”
