CasinoBeats Malta and Betting on Sports America postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak

SBC has announced that CasinoBeats Malta and Betting on Sports America have been postponed until later this year.

CasinoBeats Malta had been due to take place this month, with BoS planned for April. But the ongoing global coronavirus outbreak has led to necessary changeS.

New dates

CasinoBeats Malta has now been moved to 22-24 June 2020. Like the original event, it will take place at the InterContinental Malta hotel in St. Julian’s.

As for BoS America, the new dates for this event are 1-3 December 2020. As would have been the case for next month, the conference will still be held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Statement

In an official statement, SBC Events said the following.

“While the global COVID-19 situation evolves and the official advice and restrictions concerning travel and public gatherings continue to change, we feel we have no alternative but to postpone both events until later in the year.

“The changing situation and the fact that an increasing number of industry organisations are introducing their own travel bans for staff, means that both CasinoBeats Malta and Betting on Sports America would have been severely impacted had we not made the decision to postpone them until later in the year.”

Tickets for the original event will be valid for the new dates. SBC has asked delegates with questions to get in touch via: [email protected].

For the time being, Betting on Sports Europe will go ahead as first planned. This event is scheduled for 2-4 June 2020, taking place at Stamford Bridge in London.
