Carousel Group to grow US presence

iGaming operator and B2C solutions provider Carousel Group has been awarded a sports betting licence from the Colorado Division of Gaming

Carousel will offer its sports betting services to players via its flagship SportsBetting.com brand.

Bettors will have the opportunity to place money on sporting events both on desktop and via the SportsBetting.com mobile app.

The group is also working on expanding into other US states.

“Confident and optimistic”

SportsBetting.com will run on Carousel’s in-house platform, which the group believes will enable them to “bring a unique and powerful product to the market”.

Carousel Group CEO Daniel Graetzer shared his thoughts on the Colorado licence approval, which were as follows.

“Despite the ongoing and tragic global crisis, we couldn’t be more confident and optimistic about the sports industry and we’re very excited to be bringing our flagship brand to the American market.

“We have built our business upon a team with years of experience in the industry combined with our own technology, which gives us a huge advantage over the competition.

“It’s in our DNA to be innovative and with our own technology we will offer something fresh, exciting and very customer oriented to the U.S. betting community.”

SportsBetting.com will also have a dedicated affiliate programme

“Emerging, dynamic and technologically-driven”

To launch SportsBetting.com into the Coloradan market, Carousel teamed up with Johnny Nolon’s Casino – a venue based in Cripple Creek.

Managing Director David Minter commented on the partnership with Carousel and sports betting in Colorado. He said the below.

We are delighted to be partnering with such an emerging, dynamic and technologically driven company such as Carousel Group and are very excited about this partnership.

“Johnny Nolon’s Casino was the first casino to open for casino gambling in Cripple Creek on Oct 1, 1991 and we are looking forward to now finally being able to offer sports betting.”

On its website, Carousel said that it plans to announce expansion into other US states soon. It will also be opening new offices in both New Jersey and Colorado later this year.

Colorado is approaching the end of its first month of regulated sports betting, after last November’s referendum narrowly swung in its favour.
