Blexr spends “seven-figures” to acquire NZ casino site

iGaming affiliate company Blexr has newly acquired the New Zealand-based affiliate site, CasinoReviews.net.nz. Blexr refused to confirm the amount it bought CasinoReviews for but said that it was a deal worth a “seven-figure sum”.

CasinoReviews is known for its reviews of online casinos located in New Zealand for its kiwi locals. It seems the plan for Blexr is to expand its reach across continents. The iGaming company also said that it also is looking to build on the CasinoReviews reputation and use it to strengthen its place in the New Zealand iGaming market.

The move comes after Blexr added to its management team with Nick Walker named as its new chief operating officer and Andrew Isidoro as chief marketing officer – and this latest move appears to be the first action in their plan to expand and strengthen Blexr.

What does Blexr have to say?

Blexr’s head of marketing Koen Bongers said, “We believe this acquisition will blend very well into our existing product portfolio while increasing our presence in our target markets.”

“New Zealand has a high interest in slot machines – called ‘pokies’ locally – and our bespoke free casino games technology allows us to create a highly localised offering in the market that will stand out from the competition. We have big plans for this website and are excited to see how it will grow in the coming months.”
