Black Cow Technology announces new gaming development platform

Black Cow Technology, the RGS Specialist, is excited to announce its Open Gaming Architecture (OGA) RGS game development platform has gone live in New Jersey with a leading operator.

Under the new transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the operator is launching best-of-breed Blackjack, Roulette and Slot titles. Through using Black Cow’s OGA to develop high quality bespoke games, the operator’s game offering will be materially differentiated in the competitive New Jersey market.

Coming with a range of powerful features and functionality, with free spins and jackpots, along with the only complete Game Development Kit in the industry, OGA is seen as the perfect canvas for operators and game developers to efficiently build and launch innovative game concepts.

Head of Product, Shaun Baruzi commented: “launching into New Jersey is a huge milestone for Black Cow. We firmly believe that OGA is the most flexible, rapid and robust game development platform in the industry.

“It has been proven to efficiently build games of all types allowing our partners to strongly differentiate their brands and games offerings from incumbent suppliers.”

New Jersey is amongst one of the first states to legalise sports betting following the fall of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) in May last year.

Following this, a number of US states have looked towards those with a regulated market model which could potentially be replicated.

At last year’s Betting on Sports America, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy explained that he believed the New Jersey market is tipped to overtake Nevada in the next year.

He said: “I would say, as something to pat ourselves on the back, New Jersey is as good a place for other states to look to as anywhere in the world.

“I think there are now six states in the business, we’re number two and I think we’ll be number one – I think we’re going to catch Nevada as early as next year, according to the experts. But I know there’s a lot of interest around the country.”
