BetBull and beBettor partner for safer gambling solution

BetBull, a mobile sportsbook and casino operator, has partnered with beBettor, a responsible gaming data firm, to deliver a safer gambling solution to customers which focuses on affordability.

Helping to provide better protection to players

Using their APi services, beBettor will supply data on customer affordability to BetBull, allowing the operator to better understand its users and therefore provide more tailored protection to them.

Affordability checks are important because they help to identify when someone’s gambling habits are causing them financial harm. By joining arms, the two companies hope to protect customers from spending beyond their limits.

“It is great for us to announce our new partnership with BetBull who are at the cutting edge of the industry today,” said Scott McGregor, the COO of beBettor. “We have really enjoyed working with the BetBull team who are integrating the new affordability data we provide into their next generation safer gambling frameworks.”

Affordability checks are an absolute necessity

The head of Safer Gambling at BetBull, Ian Tannock, was equally enthusiastic about the partnership: “We are delighted to be working with beBettor on affordability. We’ve been really impressed with the beBettor team and their friendly support and approach has been first class. It was a major factor in our decision to proceed with integrating beBettor’s affordability solution.”

Affordability has become the main focus of responsible gaming campaigners and the UK Gambling Commission in recent months, with the latter currently reviewing the 2005 Gambling Act. The financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have further exacerbated the issue.

As such, this is something for affiliates to be mindful of. Introducing affordability checks should be their top priority for ensuring their customer’s safety.
