AskGamblers Awards Charity Night: are you ready?

The AskGamblers Awards winners are announced tomorrow evening, but tonight the iGaming industry gets together for good causes.

As one of the most reputable online gambling websites, AskGamblers is a key name among players. However, in its headquartered town of Belgrade, it also contributes to various local initiatives.

Thousands raised

In January 2019, the AskGamblers Charity Auction raised an impressive €49,000 for the community. This money was used to install equipment for children with disabilities in the Serbian capital.

A lengthy list of operators contributed to the cause. 21Casino was one of these, while Campeonbet and LadyHammer also donated. Other names on the list were Lapalingo, Mr.Play and Royal Panda. SlotsMillion and Vibet Casino were the other two contributors.

Nikola Teofilović, General Manager at AskGamblers, was delighted with the industry’s get-together to help those in need. She said: “We are really proud to have been able to organise an event as grand as AskGamblers Awards, and even more so to host a charity night where we collected money for a noble cause.

“As the AskGamblers Awards gathered around top names from the iGaming industry and proved to be a huge success, we are already working on the next AskGamblers Awards. It is our goal to turn both the awards ceremony and the charity auction into one of our traditions and we hope that the upcoming events will be even more successful than before.”

About the AskGamblers charity night

The event will take place in Belgrade, with multiple industry members present in the city. Affiverse will, as it did last year, be an official partner of the ceremony.

As part of this, CEO and Co-Founder Lee-Ann Johnstone will be present. When talking about the charity night, she said: “It’s vital that we all give something back to others when possible and the AskGamblers charity night provides an opportunity for all of iGaming to do just that.”

She continued: “It’s a great way to kick off proceedings and I’m confident that collectively, we’ll sail past last year’s total. It’ll be exciting to see if we can, and also to welcome you all in Belgrade!”

Don’t forget – there’s still time to vote in each category for tomorrow’s ceremony! If you’re unable to attend, you can watch live on the AskGamblers Awards website.
